These recent developments have strengthened the acceptance of the new online shopping trend we call “e-tailing,” as well as online advertising among investors, and the changed the way the supply chain works.
 Small businesses are a driving force of our economy. In honor of Small Business Week, we are celebrating all month long to recognize small businesses for the significant impact they make in our community.
 Growth for any business, small or large, during the past several years hasn’t been easy. We’ve been lucky to be in a great industry, but successfully navigating the choppy waters of rapid growth requires quite a bit of skill, focus and dedication.

 Carousel Cakes is a family owned business, located in Nanuet, NY, founded in 1965 by Martin Lefkowitz, selling over 40 different varieties of cakes. Their Red Velvet Cupcake was named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things in “O” Magazine.
 For me, some aspects of great customer service never change, such as wanting to “hear a smile” in the voice of the person helping me.
 After a month of EarthSmart Outreach events in 7 cities, I am pleased at how much progress that our FedEx team members have already made in sustaining our communities nationwide.
