The Bund is a one-mile pedestrian walkway that runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, offering one of the most spectacular views of the Shanghai skyline. Reflecting off the water, the lights that line the buildings along The Bund are a sight to behold for tourists and natives alike, their flashing cameras only adding to the light show.

I’m proud to announce that this is the 37th year that FedEx has been involved with the United Way organization. We continue to grow our involvement every year. Whether it’s loaning team members to United Way organizations, making corporate contributions or raising awareness of United Way activities, United Way and FedEx have a long and rich history.

As we speak, the 2012 Summer Olympics torch relay is in progress. The famed torch is making its way to Olympic Stadium in London to mark the start of the international games in July. The Olympic flame, dating back to the ancient Olympic games in Greece, is not only a token of the games, but also a symbol of countries coming together, united in pride, sportsmanship and healthy competition. The Olympics may be the one of the best examples of global collaboration.
