FedEx Express Ranked Among “World’s Best Multinational Workplaces” |

It was certainly great news on October 28 when the Great Place to WorkInstitute ranked FedEx Express #5 on the organization’s first-ever list of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces 2011.
Employees working at the 25 companies on the list were selected to take a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute that asked them to share their views on numerous factors that included credibility, fairness and pride.
And speaking of pride, I can’t thank employees enough for the endless ways they do things to contribute to the company’s success. In fact, wherever I meet employees during my travels around the world, I hear stories that symbolize our People–Service–Profit culture.
Sometimes the story is about an employee who went well above expectations to deliver the Purple Promise to a customer. At other times, I hear amazing stories of employees who’ve helped someone in need. What’s common about the stories is how FedEx employees are driven to contribute to the company’s success in their own unique and remarkable ways.
Maybe you have a story to share about how you embraced the FedEx spirit. Why don’t you blog about it? I’d love to hear it!
