FedEx Global Citizenship Team
As a member of the Global Citizenship team since 2007, Brandon is the program advisor for philanthropic investments in education and the environment. Brandon also manages the FedEx Global Citizenship Report (csr.fedex.com).
In 2010, Tidwell launched EarthSmart Outreach, a cross-enterprise effort to invest in charitable programs that aligned with the company’s environmental strategy. Investments focus on sustainable transportation solutions in the developing world, preservation of endangered and urban ecosystems, and engaging FedEx team members in local environmental projects. FedEx also commissioned research on trade and sustainability with Yale, exploring the common ground between a nation’s environmental performance and the actions it takes to increase its trade with other economies.
Prior to FedEx, Tidwell spent seven years in the non-profit sector, most recently as the Vice President at The Leadership Academy. Brandon is an Executive MBA student at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and holds a Masters in Social Work from Baylor and a Certificate in Philanthropy from NYU.
